We are proud to announce the installation of a brand-new Changing Places Toilet in our Commercial Unit at Thie Clag – one of only a few facilities of its kind on the Island.
A Changing Places Toilet is an accessible toilet changing facility with additional specialist features including a height-adjustable bed and sink, a hoist system, a retractable privacy screen, and enough space for at least one disable person and two carers. This fully accessible space ensures dignity, safety, and comfort for all.
This facility is ready in-waiting and will be available when the Commercial Unit is let and open to the public, reflecting our continued commitment to building an inclusive and accessible community environment within our projects, with our idea to include this facility integral to the design of the commercial space.
