MDC today signed a contract with NK Construction Limited to complete the restorative works on the Former Nurses’ Home on Westmoreland Road to provide 37 new apartments. MDC are delighted to be able to use a Manx firm to bring this iconic building back into use, and begin the regeneration of the area.
NK Construction Limited is a family-run company formed in 1980 that directly employs over 50 staff on the Isle of Man. Since being the successful tender in a process that took place last February, they have been working closely with MDC to produce a road to completion that achieves great value and excellent sustainability credentials.
MDC look forward to working with the NK team to deliver this exciting project.
